If you have the 25mm novak fan, make some spacers to place it about 1/4-3/8 inch over the heatsink. The fans are more effective with an air gap.

 . It looks like you're using a plastic spurgear am I right? Is it a Kyosho one and does it fit without any modifications?

Nice looking truck. Some question, why do you have it geared for around 50mph? How hot does your ESC, motor and batteries get? How often do you WOT?
