Anybody know what material it is? - 06.14.2008, 10:25 PM

The "graphite" in the chassis and towers/arms, etc on the 10th scale Factory Team and like cars. I know it's graphite impregnated plastic, but am searching for a trade name. I found it once but can't remember for the life of me

Anyone know?

TIA

This looks like the stuff. Not sure if it's the actual term, though.

I don't think he's trying to get to Earth's core . I have some unobtanium BTW, it's basically tungsten carbide . What he's looking for is some form of Engineering Plastic. Some has very high amount of carbon fiber and they can be expensive. A good alternative would be Delrin.

Not really , China has tons of it. Darn thing shattered my hammer when I tried to break it. I tried my Ginsu Knife (I might have misspelled it) and Ginsu Knife is in the garbage . Just to think the darn thing gets stronger with pressure.
