G3R Dogbone Size

While bashing the eRevo at the track yesterday, all 4 screws for the (single speed) tranny case fell out. Damn stock plastic. Once the transmission started bouncing around, I lost the shorter of the 2 dog bones.

I'm trying to find out the size of the shorter dogbone to see if there is a replacement available other than the $45 drive shaft kit from GM.

I see RC-Monster has a 72mm shaft available for the emaxx chassis, would that be the same size as the G3R one?

Anyone with a G3R chassis wanna do a quick measurement for me of the dog bones?

I suggest that you buy the 72mm bone and leave me a message when you check out - you actually need a 76mm bone for the G3R front(write this in your shopping cart and I will ensure that you receive the proper bone). You may consider a new tranny case while your at it(keep the screws in). :)

I certainly am. I'm going to give these 3mm inserts FFRC has a shot first (for $12), before going to an aluminum case... but see I that happening anyway in the near future.

I don't think you need the aluminum case(though I will gladly sell you one) - just a new plastic case with fresh screw holes would likely cure the loose screw issue. :)
