My Mamba works fine on 5s, with a multipole motor at that.

I've been running mine on 6S without a problem. I'm using a cc bec, fan and mod one done.

I've also ran it on 5S but the custom LVC didn't work for me. Also it sometimes worked on 4S but sometimes it didn't. Just a heads up.

Artur(griffin) he adds copper plates inside for heatsinks. Changes the 3 caps with high voltage better ones, a diode, and an extra cap. I think that's it. Some one please correct me if I'm wrong.

They are hit or miss running 5s. Some do... some dont... I woulnt say that frying the minute you flip the switch isnt normal on 5s. I wouldnt let one incident sway your decision. ANd absolute worst case scenario it will cost $50 to get a new one from CC under the replacement plan. But odds are it will either work or just wont arm.

I have 2 old ass MMs that have been fed a steady diet of 5s since the first time I hooked them up. I never had a problem with either of them. I have another that won't arm at all on anything more than 4s. (that one went into the CRT.5 on 3s)

( funny thing though.... By the time you buy a MM a CC BEC and a fan it is almost the same cost a MMM if they were actually available.)

I can't decide if its more fun
to make it...
or break it...
