Servo intersecting with 8 cell pack - 02.27.2005, 01:52 AM

I noticed that my steering servo saver is rubbing hard against the batteries in my gmaxx CF chassis. Over the time period of about a month my batteries has been worn down to the metal. Anyway i can stop this?
thanks

Put some spacers under the steering servo to raise it up away from the batteries.

A spacer is the easiest way to address this.
Most aftermarket servos come with grommet spacers.

Another option, you might consider - upgrading to a better servo saver (like the proline kit) this would take care of it also.

Unfortunately, pro-line has discontinued their maxx servo saver. I am trying to discover another in the same price range!

No idea! It was a great product. I assume they are focusing on the Revo, like everyone else. I picked up a MGT servo saver (Golden Horizons) from another distributor a couple days ago to see if I can make it work. I have quite a few of the Proline savers (on my trucks), but I want to find a nice product for my customers.

UE makes a killer servo saver.

I think why proline discontinued their products is because they come out with a new product every month or so and they don't want to get their inventory too large. They select the products that they discontinue by seeing their sales, and since the proline steering kit didn't fit well in maxxes, it got discontinued. Just a guess.

I agree the UE servo saver is killer, but it costs almost twice what the proline costs.
