If I ever get a comment on where something new came from I just ask her how much she has spent that month on new clothes and that ends the conversation.

Of course it goes both ways - I can't really comment on her clothes and accessories spending.

Off the topic of the thread, but sorry to hear that. I helped my fiance through her D after a big mistake marriage and it was a pretty rough time for her.
