No the Artena uses 13/38 difs. Thr RTR Buggy uses 9/28 and the FRE Buggy uses 13/38 also. CEN uses some wierd ratios and different all over the board.
I personally would upgrade the difs with the Hotbodies truggy difs. 10/43 and then change the center spur to a 46T. The stock 66T forces you to push the battery way off to the side just because of how big the spur diameter is. Use the Cen buggy center spur.
Also, a must do upgrade is the upper arm of the servo saver. the stock plastic ones break easilly. The CNC red is the solution. I have one sitting here new in the package if you are interested. I'll give you a deal on it LMK. I bought it for a CEN I had and then sold it before installing it. My other 2 cens were already upgraded so it sat in my parts bin for the last year.
I can't decide if its more fun
to make it...
or break it...
Ok you guys good news! I was talking to one of my friends online and he reccomended me to a guy who custom winds brushless 6-pole motors. The weird thing is he has the 600xl instock and rewound to Delta 5 turn meaning 1680kv "same as stock kv" but instead he has 200 celcius windings in it and says their very comparable to the stuff they use for Neu windings. He says the before and after preformance results are pretty dramatic. The temps dropped quite a bit and preformance went up some. I asked him if he'd be interested in trading for a MM with an (8) cap board and he said yes. He is sending first so pics will be coming here very soon.
Found a really good deal on a 5s. Align 5200mah 5s 25c-30c lipo for $210. The bursts doesnt thrill me but the cont rating and the price is what has my sold. This is definately on my list.
