Video: Cold Fusion bash... - 07.07.2008, 07:39 AM

Hey guys!

Just a quick post, really. Some of you might remember some threads I did on my Wild Dagger a while back. Anyhoo, a short while ago I got time to film a half-decent (read: hopefully not too terrible lol) video of a bit of bash time with her. She doesn't hit WOT or do any properly decent jumps (had a cracked gearcase, so couldn't risk it), but I thought you guys might like to take a peek. It's best watched in High Quality, otherwise YouTube distorts the size:

Since she can't go LiPo (chassis just won't accomodate it), I've got a pair of new Elite 5000 NiMH packs on the way to replace the tired ones she has now. I know, they're on the heavy side and won't pack the power of 3S LiPo...but hooked up in parallel, they already provide WAY too much power anyway. So I'm not too bothered. Hopefully pretty soon I'll have the cash to continue the Havoc project.

Thanks for looking.

I really like the editing. Looks like a fun truck too!

Sweet, I've wondered how well it actually performs- great handling. Nice video editing too, better than most of what I've ever watched.

Not a crawler, more like a smaller version of the USA-1 if you will, a cross between a clodbuster and emaxx, only smaller (in stock form anyway, this thing is a work of art).

Cheers guys, thanks for the compliments! You have no idea how long the vid took to edit on an old 1.4ghz Athlon T-bird with a slow 40 gig HD and 768mb of SDRAM...it was painful Got there eventually though. She's far from a crawler... I know, the beginning of the vid makes it a bit hard to make out, but CF has full indi suspension and a low CG like any other truck. It'd get stuck on the first sizeable rock it sees, lol. It's kinda like a Clod in that is has two gearboxes; front and rear, but the similarities stop there.

Thanks for watching. BluB8llz, how come you can't do donuts? That was just shot on gravel, so I'd have thought any BL truck would be able to do some quick donuts like that?
