I wouldnt gear up any motor higher than a 5400kv its asking for trouble the 180 size motors cant handle the extra strain

If I were you I'd get a Neu or Medusa. I have a 8500kv Neu in my Vendetta st. Think how I'd do in an 18t... Look me up on youtube-metallover3

EDIT: get a CC 1/10 sidewinder for the same price. You will need a good battery too.
