Also have to look for the wear factor. Bullets seem to loosen over time. Deans has a nice spring to ensure solid contact. I believe Traxxas is similar? I suppose you can re-spread the individual tines on bullet connectors to renew the tension, but I can never get them to be perfect.

Bullets are easier to clean though. After a while, crud gets on any contacts and the female end of Deans is kinda a PITA to get to effectively.

Deans for me, but I like the look of bullets (and the durability/ease of soldering) but may decide to switch to them later on.

I will spank a nitro any day...guaranteed. :)

Deans
Traxxas didn't even use solder on some of my esc's plugs.(easy fix tho) If one had to couldn't they just use two deans instead of one on the esc & lipos? (soldering one wire to both plug poles, one for the positive and one for the negative) Also when making a series connector could the plugs be sized different per load at connection? (1 x Dean at each lipo and 5.5MM at esc)

If you guy's do go with the bullet connectors you can use red heatshink tubing on one wire and black on the other to avoid mistakes. Deans rule they are way better they are the ultimate connector (besides I'm stuck with like 50 pairs..lol).

I use 6mm bullets on motor and battery. The main reason is that they are easy to solder. I can't solder a dean's plug to save my life. I like the traxxas too, but I just find soldering the bullets to be a lot easier.

I like the idea about a plastic adapter for safety to keep the bullets from touching. I blew a lipo pack though on accident (remember that JHautz!) not paying attention. I since have switched to male/female set up so I can't make that mistake again. IT does bother me though with the exposed connector. For now I just wrap in electrical tape as a safety precaution.

Another Deans user - on everything but a pr of 5000 2S Neu's that I bouight usd - they came with bullets. Looking at the size of the wires, I think's I'd have trouble changing them to deans, the wires are so big (10ga_. I soldered up a set of adapters using 12ga wire, bullets to deans, and discovered the bullets are easier to solder.

I have not used the Neu's that much, but have noticed the spring in the male bullets has already started to get weaker.

Halle all the way... Angeline looks like she got punched in the lips. Besides, I like my women curvy - Angeline is too skinny.

Neither they are both annoying but Id bang Halle way before fish face Jolie

I switched everything from the Traxxas over to deans. I originally hated deans because they are small and hard to get apart for a nail biter lol But you cant solder up a parallel connector or anything on a Traxxas. Id love to use gold connectors if they had BrianGs plastic retainer idea, I dont trust they wont click together and short out even with lots of heat shrink.

I felt the same way....then I found these;

They have a raised grip on them and they are easier to get apart.

They are listed as "Deans Style T Connectors" The picture they have has not been updated, but I have ordered these on 3 different occasions and they all have the grip!

Only $6 for 10 sets as well
