The battery tray included with the Tekno V3 brushless kits for the 8ights is only 150mm in length, so it is long enough for Enerland cell packs or Zippy's.

it is NOT long enough, Mike's tray for the Enerland cell packs are 165mm and they fit just right, you would have to use a crapamps cell to fit in a 150mm as they are 145mm long.

sure will! i didnt think they were making the 4900s anymore but only the 5000s, hmm i wonder why the 5000s are 20mm longer than the 4900s, that 4900 must use the same cells as their trackpower batteries.

with more mah amp in a battery you can only cram so much in a small space. there had to be a point were the battery will just flat out have to be bigger to fit the extra mah.

I fly, I drive, but most of all I crash.

4900 4s: 141MM/44MM/42MM 498 grams
5000 4s: 166MM/44MM/35MM 514 grams
5000's are longer, but they also don't sit as high, so just depends which dimensions suit your car.
