Alright guys, the crt.5 is up and running! Well somewhat; all I had to put in it was a mm5700 with a 12t pinion(on 2s). I think it'll get a little hot, but it should be ok for a 10min race. If anyone has a smaller pinion that they can bring that I could possibly borrow for the race I would appreciate it!
what's the date for the annual bash? If I hadn't done my CRT.5 build in less than 2 weeks I would have had the money to come tomorrow. But I also would have only had a stock E-REVO to bring. Very glad I did the build thoughcsuse it's awesome. I will be posting pics when I get my computer back
I'm really pissed now. It doesn't look like I can go. My car had a dead battery earlier today, so I charged it, drove around for a couple hours(had to go to some stores), it seemed fine. I go to start my car tonight, it's dead again. I just charged it again then left it idling for an hour. It measures 14.8-15.0 volts. Is that normal? It's just I'd rather not get stuck over an hour from home with a dead battery. Then again, I could roll it down a hill and pop the clutch to start it...
Just pop into the local "AutoZone" and ask them to put it on the tester(its free). They will put you in the right direction quick and you will be on your way. It sounds as if you have a bad battery since your system is putting out the voltage. Get the car running and disconnect the battery. If the car dies, then you have a bad alternator. If the car keeps running, then your battery is bad. Good luck with that.

I'll have to bring it there at 8am tomorrow because it closes in like 25min and by the time I get there it'll be closed. Huh...
