Live and learn. After I divorced, I hired a housekeeper. She comes when I tell her to, cleans, does the laundry, Gets my boy off the bus, cooks dinner... and the best part is after I pay her she goes home. Been around the block once decided not to go around that block again...:L: Its a new ballgame.
Definition of insanity: doing the same thing over and over and expecting to get different results:rolleyes:
So... my son, he is 8, came home from school with a note from his teacher, TROUBLE, chasing a GIRl on the playground. Why? He "likes her", he says. I asked, "How is that working for you?" response "Well she ignores me!" I suggested he STOP, and go play ball with the boys. She now stands on the sidelines and CHEERS him on. I am freinds with her Dad, he tells me she now has a crush on him......
Kids these days

That may have what happened to you papa. You followed the sign. :D I not going to say I won't get divorced. I don't see it happening soon. I try to make the right turns. You have to make the turns together for it to work. One turns left the other right. It don't work. If you know what I mean.
Peace!

Man, it sounds like your falling for her before you even kick this shindig off. Man get in there and feel it out before you give up on everything else. It might work out, it might not. If it doesnt then you be at a lose in 2 spots, the girl and R/C.
Papa- I've looked at your "keep Right" avatar everytime I read a post you make and it never clicked that the arrow points left. Never paid atteention.

Dad always said when things start getting exciting and your feeling all pumped up...like your gonna explode......slow down , take deep breaths .... savor the moment
Dude is homecoming the first "date" with this girl?
If so man, don't put to much pressure on your self keep your expectations realistic. If the the big dance is not to soon...have her meet you at Starbucks or something non-threatening like a cup of Coffee.... relaxed easy..... uhhh....your generation maybe the music store for a new CD....no pressure your not gonna plant the lips on her right away....;)
She would not have said yes for the dance if she didn't dig you already

If you CAN walk away from RC you probably should. Most of us are in way too deep and no amount of therapy can save us.Get out while you can,it's already too late for some of us but for the love of God man, save yourself!
:L:
Just kidding, hope you stay with the rest of us RC junkies.

CRAP! look what you've done to Papa !!
suddenly he isn't speaking in terms of KV rates, voltages and controllers.. Thanks, now we need to recharge him with BL terms...
No, kidding.. i am having a 10 year long relationship with my girl Isabel, i really love her, not married, no sex till mariage (YEAH RIGHT!!) i had quite a few girls, lost count to be honoust. But I kept the best one, and happely for me, she choose me as well!.
Men needs to hunt and collect..
It's hard not to hold on too tight to a girl, especially the first one is hard to get over and to get it right, but trust me, time is the best teacher that you can get.
That, and the breathing advice from papa take you a long way.
What is the exact reason you're quiting RC, has it got something to do with hoe you want to be seen by her?

350, I would suggest not changing anything about yourself (that includes dropping your hobby) for a potential mate. In fact, dropping your hobby may be worse than keeping it. You see, when we go changing ourselves to look better for a potential mate we often find those changes not so palatable over time...and may make us bitter towards our decision to drop one thing or another for a relationship.
You are you and must continue to be yourself. The right mate will enjoy you for you...starting to sound repetitive but there's a preponderence of truth behind my advice.
This of course goes both ways, you'll have to enjoy her for her and hope that she's being herself and not fake.
Good luck.
