Very nice...On 6s you better hold on!! When you are done, make sure you shoot a short vid. so we can see that scream!

Another nice and clean conversion .
I also like the way you have kept the mech brakes .
I'm about to start my RC8 conversion and i am unsure wether to try the mech brakes .
I have gone with esc braking in my X2 conversion so might try the mech brakes in the RC8 to see which i prefer .
Good work

hey everyone had some time this weekend and thought i would post a pic of the batt tray. it took a while to finish but its solid and the 6s 4000 sits about 5 mm lower without the bottom of the tray and 3mm lower than the center diff brace. the cf on the mud guard is for stiffening. the cf on the side vertically is just to protect the battery in a crash. will post a pic when i get the mmm (some time next week hopefully) and get some paint on the body and some testing done. its a 1512 3d (1700) on 22.2 volts. about 37500 rpm and like 90% efficient == long run time and good tourqe but we shall see. this is just the latest car in my 15+ years in the wonderfull world of electric r/c.

p.s. yes i really am a power lineman if anyone cares
