Audio/Video remote controls - 08.03.2008, 02:33 AM

I've been searching my place for some mia rc parts. In the process I've come across a lot of remote control for A/V equipement. At one time I was on a mission to have a remote for all my equipement. Started grabbing the .99 remotes just incase I got that Panasonic DVD player some day. It's a disease but I'm facing the problem and doing better now. I collect other useless stuff now. Not for me but just incase someone else might need it someday.

If anyone has a tv vcr dvd tape deck receiver that doesn't have the remote with it. Even if your universal doesn't work all the important functions. Give me a hollor I might have an original you can have. I've found close to 40 of them so far. Various makes and models.

I don't think I have anything that will control an Ocd. It may be something the person will just have to get up and change for thierself. Oh, CD! Now I may have something for those. Knowing you a bit I know what you hinting around about. All my doctors agreed. There's nothing wrong with me and I can go ahead and stand trial now.

Being seious here...I have a moderate case of OCD, I always thought I was just being organized and I have seen a few documenteries on it and I share all the symptoms ....its funny no matter how hard I try I cant stop it...... and I dont think its a problem I sometimes wonder why everyone isnt like me. I have gotten better through the years when I was younger I was a lot worse

Lol. My mum has it, or at least in my opinion she has- cant stop cleaning, polishing, putting the washingmachine on for a pair of socks etc etc. Im just a bit of a tidy-freak myself, like things to be put away, or left straight, bit like perfectionism, only not quite so bad...

best way to describe it is you have a very high sense of responsibilty and if there is something that could be done you feel like "you have to do it" or the world will end. If you owned a company you would want all of your employees to be OCD

sorry to keep off topic Gee , but I wonder if theres anything documented about brushless RC and OCD lol. Seems alot here have at least a mild case. My wife calls it "over organizing" I place my tools out a in a nice orderly fashion in lines and move a few around to what I feel is the proper place before and after I work on my rcs. She wants to slap me "stop organizing". I have 12 fishing boxes full of parts, tools, accesories that I may never use but must have just incase I or someone will. Dont even get me going on the dishes. No one goes to bed till they are done because I cant sleep if they arent. Psychooo

I used to be pretty crazy about organization. My clothes would be hung perfectly and organized according to color and what-not. Everything always had to be perfect. Eventually I realized that it was getting to be too much so I taught myself out of it. I forced myself to make a mess and walk away from it. I changed the order of the clothes in the closet, etc.

Now I'm a bit of a slob so I think I overshot my target. Now I have to push back the other direction. :-)

He's down by the river ... walking on water.

NO problem Jayjay283. It's nice to get to know more about you. My father has his moments. I almosts forgot about some of his "ways of living" until he visited for a few weeks. Had to have some fun withi him. I would follow behind him and turn the lights back on. I couldn't help it this time. I could use some organization in my life. Too laid back at times or maybe to spread out. See to do more then one thing at a time. Instead of putting the tool back it gets laid right were I was working on something. Spend more time looking for stuff because it's so cluttered you can see it. I know that bothered him, but we each have respect for one another. He spend most of his time pulling dandie lions. He hate those to. Have to be correctly pulled out too. Good thing I had some knee pads for him. There were hundreds of them.
