Has anyone else have the problem with Castle link?

It ran good anyway. It didn't thermal in this 98 degree temperature. And that's saying something.

Damn it. My package was the regular Mamba Max. I was hoping for the Monster's back. Owell, hopefully, it won't be much longer.

That's the one.

The guys at Castle told me that the firmware on the MMM is newer than what is available on the website. This is due to the fan controller. It will be included in the next release they said.

I drove it for 27 minutes (till lvc) and alls good (26:47 longer than V1), MMM,9xl,Neu 30c 2x 2s 5ah, 24/65 (easy setup for 1st run, no 6s 1Y like last time LOL) the monsters temps never got over 108º* , 9xl 145º (*The highest I could measure with the case on, bit of a turd trying to guage it). The fan only went on twice and went off after a few seconds of me looking at it. It runs real cool. Humidity is retarded out here and about 85 ambient. Its smooth as butter just like before, no cog takeoff even at slow pull. Check out the video and restart the beginning a couple times. No cog at all and I was barely pulling the throttle. (wife cant video, missed my wheelie with sparks pfft) I think were back in business ! Congrats Castle.

That's awesome. I can't believe I didn't get an e-mail today. Hopefully tomorrow. I have to wait 2 weeks for mine to travel the 5000 miles mentioned earlier anyway. I can't wait. The savage was stupid with the old MMM.

Man! Mine got up to 150 degrees pretty quick. I think it stayed there but 108 is crazy cool. I'll be doing some more testing through out the week.

Got my MMM today. Uninstalled the MM and mounted the MMM. Hooked it up to the Castle Link and set it to what I had the MM set to. Took it out side and ran it up and down the street where it ran great for about 4 minutes and then stopped .... just like the v1. I immediately unplugged everything and took it inside. I put it on my work station and plugged the battery back in and switched it on. It seem to come alive (unlike my MMMv1) but any throttle gave it uncontrolable cogging ... I unhooked everything again.
Now, what is really strange is that when my MMMv1 died on me and I found it was going to be awhile before I'd get it back, I re-installed my MM. After installing the old trustee MM I experienced the same severe cogging. After checking everything out I determined that it was the Neu 1512 1.5 that was the problem component. Since it was still under warranty I sent it back to Neu where they prompty sent me a replacement. I installed the new Neu with my MM and everything ran fine until today. I ran my Jammin just yesterday with the MM and Neu and it ran fine. Now I'm wondering if the MMMv1 caused the problem in the Neu ... I mean this is one hell of a coinencidence. I'm not sure where to go from here, I have another 1512 never used and of course I stll have my MM. I think I'll uninstall the MMM and install the MM and see what happens. I'll be calling CC in the morning and see if they can shed any light on the subject matter.
Just for the record, I was using a 4s 3700, and am not using a/the BEC. I'm running a short RX extension cable with the red wire cut so the MMM has not been modified. Also keep in mind this setup was running flawlessly for over a month with the MM and ran perfectly for about 4 minutes with the MMMv2 so if there was a wiring problem it would of never of ran. I'll report back tomorrow after I talk to Cc and try a swap out of either the Neu or the MMM.---------------------------------------------------------------
Jammin X1CR, Neu 1512/1.5D, MMM/MM, NO BEC
XTM/XT2, Nemesis XL, Hydra120, NO BEC
2 FireFox 4s 3700, 2 Neu 4s 5000

Yes, I do to. I think the first thing I will do is to switch the MMM out for the MM. If the problem still exist I'll switch out the Neu. One way or another I'll have more to report on tomorrow.

I couldn't wait til morning ... had to try something tonight so I could give CC tech support more insight tomorrow. I unplugged the MMM; didn't uninstall, just unplugged from motor, RX and battery ... and with the MM laying on top the MMM I plugged it into the motor, RX and battery. AND everything worked fined so it's not the motor and seems to be the MMM. Gee, I don't know if that's good news or bad news.
