They're here! If you want a REALLY cheap esc, look on hobby city. I was going to get one of these, but settled on the mm. I emailed them about it and look what happened! Suppo esc's carried by hobby city! Here are the prices after you sign in:

I see dynamic braking in the specs, does that mean car brakes or prop brakes?

Prop brakes... Nobody makes car esc's that cheap!

They could be made that cheap if someone would put a couple more hours into the firmware for some good brakes!

I have a 40a esc made by the same company. I used it with a Neu 1105/2y (5200kv) and it seemed to work great. I never got around to program out the soft start, so I just used it for speed runs mostly in my Sportwerks Recoil. You can get around the soft start a little by going minimum throttle for about a second then you could really hammer it. It stayed much cooler then my Quark 33a.

Takedown - You should get the 200a for your 1/5th if you go through with it. Most of this companies products are stocked at www.lightflightrc.com. You could e-mail them and I think they could get you the 200a. Their prices are a little higher then hobby city, but good luck trying to get something special ordered at hobby city.

Awhile ago I tried to contact suppo directly from the e-mail address I found on the website and I never got it to work. I don't know about customer support from these guys. hehe Support

Hey, even with the dynamic breaking, is there any way you could just put it in a truck with mechanical breaks? Would you have to disable the dynamic breaking via programming card for that to work? I'm kinda considering putting this in a REVO, if I could ever get my hands on one

I don't like the LVC setting...slows down @ 3.0 and stops at 2.9....IMO too low could potentially puff packs...I like to set mine @ 3.2-3.3 vpc

You could also run an external lvc if you want. I think that is what the Apogee LOA is.

Yeah a 200A like this one http://www.rc-monster.com/forum/showthread.php?t=7651 would've been good. Good thing Suppo paid for my MOSFETs.

Suppo will still try to make it. After they sent the payment for my MOSFETs, they sent me an e-mail asking for my help again. Only if the companies I help could give me some more credit instead of products and headaches.
