Mech. brake vs electrical brake

i find mechanical brakes to be more deft.Especially with the right cam profile.

I've been wondering about this too,since the mechanical brake allows adjustable front and rear bias my money would be on that actually stopping a buggy quicker.Wouldn't the rears lock up without mechanical brake sending very little power to the front unless you ran a heavy oil which would harm the handling?
Good if you have a drag brake style i suppose but i don't think it could stop as quickly.
