4S vs. 6S........graphs - 08.10.2008, 08:04 PM

This is in my rustler. Motor is a medusa 50mm 1600kv and a 6S 4000mah dymond. Second is a medusa 50mm 2200kv with an airthunder 5000mah 4S.

Same gearing and speed within 2mph of each other. The 6S runs longer and has cooler temps.....just thought I'd post the graphs.

Cool, I want to get a 50mm 2200 medusa as soon as the 5mm shafts come back in stock. I was wondering exactly what the amps would be. I was figuring on ~1000W on 4S. Should be good in my CRT.5

The 4S peaked around 980 and the 6S peaked around 1060. I ran the 6S with the 2200kv motor and pulled 1900 but that was limited to my speed runs. I pulled a fair consistant 70's amp draw during the run but peaked higher pulling the front end up and just messing around.
