Zippys good enough? - 08.10.2008, 02:55 PM

Through much reading, i know that Zippy's are good packs, but are they good enough to base a whole truck on? I wanna do a hv truck project, but the only way i can afford it is to use Zippy packs. Opinions please.

I have another 4S 10C 5000mah TrueRC pack and it doesn't hold voltage as well as the zippy 4000 25C. It also tends to get hot at a 20C load. I think it would be fine @ 15C, but the Zippy is better. I loved my TRC packs for cheap and reliable packs, but I can't see buying them over zips anymore. We'll see how the packs hold up longterm, but really, the price can't be beat.
