RPM vs Amps graph - 10.17.2005, 10:33 AM

I just got my EagleTree setup and did a few runs yesterday. I thought it would be interesting to log spur gear RPM and pack amps. Its my savage running 16 cells on an 8XL. I still need to figure out how calibrate the rpms so it reads true.
Anyone know how to setup the number of magnets that is being used? I cant find it in the menu.

spur gear rpms can be turned into motor rpms by doing thge math on the pinion/spur ratio.

Interesting! Say, gives the X axis seconds?

Is this bench testing or straight run?

Yeah, it takes about 2.5 seconds before this monster is at impressive speed..

If you consider using two magnets for the ballance of the spur, i don't know if it's possible to add two.. perhaps some fishlead can offer ballance in the spur.

Darn.. Now I know what my xmass present is going to be..

Its a real run on the street. I hit the "gas" from a dead stop and let her rip.

I will probably get one too! Then we can all share data with different motor/gearing combinations, and make a nice thread with all of that data! This is what is being done with the numerous Lipo batts over at the RC community of http://www.rcgroups.com , which I frequently visit.
