Nue Motor Failure - 08.16.2008, 08:34 PM

Well my racing hopes for tomorrow are out - The rotor failed on my 1515 2.5DF - It slid forward 6mm or so... :(

Off to Neu on Monday hopefully for a New one...

PS did a nice 48mph jump with the CRT .5 - 3 rotations and perfect landing sadly video didn't work the first time... Lesson learned do not try stunts like that twice! Second time I landed on the wing...

So far it looks like it just ripped the rear diff case to shreds and mangled the rear centre driveshaft - Anyone know the part number for the latter on an extended ofna chassis?

Video of the latter jump hopefully coming...

Not that I'm away of it was put away fine after I last used it. I got it out today and put a pack in - I was just pulling away from stationary on tarmac - Nothing special at all... Mystery to me...

I sent a motor back to neu with a loose shaft. It left my shop on thursady, and I got it back on monday.... No charge and very fast turn around.

I just need the length of the rear centre shaft - I see the kit comes with a 60mm one I just can't remember if you swap the old (short kit) front to the rear and the 60mm goes in the front.

or is it the old (short chassis) rear goes in the front and the new 60mm goes in the rear!

Anyone have the extended chassis instructions?

I sent mine in last week, 2 weeks for repairs now. They are quite busy.
Even so, 2 weeks ain't half bad!

Wait a sec, a 1515/2.5d in a Crt.5?. Thats like putting a 2280 in a Emaxx

Work because i gotta, play because i wanna

People here hate Nitro, I love it. I start it, run it about 50 ft from me and it dies, I go after it. Perfect exercise
