But a waste of time you are better off selling the 8L and getting a single better bigger motor...

Yes but gear up - I presume you are working on an emaxx or esavage? Post up your setup...

Why not look at a Medusav2 60mm 2000kv... on 4s geared 22-24/66?

Not only do you save the motor but you also save buying an esc

First thing you have to learn is that an electric motor doesn't work like a nitro motor. You don't need RPM to get speed, that's what gearing is for.

Slow down a bit and let us help ya.

its a hyper 7 to enter in the worlds fastest RC max speed with that motor assuming its does the rated 2000 and assuming no losses 24/44 gearing is 100mph

problem being im using a MM ESC and it wont supply the amps it would need

hence doubling up as i dont fancy my chances of getting a MMM in time

i now next to nothing about nitro and a fair bit about electic sure i could gear it up but my old reliable MM wouldnt be so reliable any more

Fair enough - Pure speed comps are very different in terms of setup - I would look at 2x medusa 50 3300's on MM's on 4s with rx battery...

PS is that zx5 jump digitised - a lot of pixelation around the car in the air...

It would be a lot easier to use your MM in your ZX-5 instead of the big Hyper 7. Youre gonna pull a lot of amps in your Hyper 7 and you can get more speed out of the zx-5 with a less powerful setup. Are you on Fast-RC forums?

Dual 8L motors geared high for top speed can draw quite a bit. I would make a rough guess at about 20-25A average with 150A+ bursts.
