i love my electronics.. when it comes to lipos, i normally have two of the same kind so that i can give the packs a good 2-3hr (the more the better) break in between. Draining those lipos puts a lot of stress on the cells. So IMO threat it like a baby to increase its life span.

What makes you think it change anything at all? Where did you hear one should wait 2-3 hrs, and the more the better? just asking your source...

Take A123 cells, I charge them @ 10Amps, discharge them up to more than 100Amps, I don't wait between charges, discharge them totally flat... I put a lot of stress on them yet they just seem to not care at all. Baby-sitting cells just because it "feels better" only lead to a total waste of time/money/effort, where it is irrelevant.

Flyers will tell you that using more than 80% of lipo cells capacity, storing them fully charged in a warm place is a LOT harder on the cells than cycling them several times a day.

I've been doing some testing with an airthunder 4S 5000mah. I have some headlights setup that will drain it dead in under 10 mins. I drain then charge(after it's cool) about 5 times in a day and noticed the mah drop off about 300 by the end charge. I let it sit over night fully charged and the first discharge and charge the mah are right back up within 20mah of the previous day. Also I notice it will hold over 16v for a good 30 seconds on the first and second cylce. After that the volts drop below 16v right after I connect it.

Just some things I've gathered.
