Difference in failures

So it sure seems to me like the MMM failures are similar with the first and second batch.So did they not fix it the first time?Is this a different little problem rearing it's head?I personally will not run 1 that has to be modded to make it work,just for warranty purposes.Also I see alot of people blaming it on setups,either batteries or gearing,can someone explain why a smaller battery would make the esc fail?And why did it seem the MM did alright with the Neu's but people are blaming them for a MMM failure? Why didn't they just mod out the MM to use at least 5s?It seems that that would be more reliable.The main point though is did they really fix anything between v1 and v2?

Well this is the Castle forum,it is the bulletproof esc that everyone has been waiting for.But honestly I have not seen to many things about comparing the problems of v1 to v2 which is why the new thread.

I'm no expert with cuircut boards don't know the first thing about them,but I think if it was just as easy as Modding a MM Castle may have done that,But the one thing I do know is that there must have been a reason,maybe if they would have used the MM as a platform to build a control that could handle 5S maybe they would have been to restricted and might had to compromise to much and maybe they would have not been able to get an acceptable life span out of them.But if you really want to know why they did not choose to just Mod the MM and use that as a Platform you should PM Patrick and ask him that Question as he would know why.
