"Little" conversion ... M18MT - 10.23.2005, 12:06 PM

Hello,

just finished my "little" conversion - I put a "Tekin Mini Rage with the Extreme motor" into my M18MT and I also "crushed" my smallest LiPo-pack inside it.

It`s really crazy - comparing the size and the weight (450 gramm including the LiPo) to my Brushless-EMAXX (5000 gramm) - this thing is a "TripleMonsterCrazyExtremeBeast".

It is so fast - difficult to drive straight but with a little experience by driving - really awesome.

Here are some pic`s for anybody how`s interested:

www.never2mu.ch - than click "Free Stuff" and than click "Pic`s Brushless-M18MT".

Greetings from Germany

That battery needs a crash helmet

Work because i gotta, play because i wanna

People here hate Nitro, I love it. I start it, run it about 50 ft from me and it dies, I go after it. Perfect exercise

Either that is a big battery or a small car. I think your right jr. It does need a crash helmet. If it crash and go boom. I hope harald gets it on video.

Peace!

Hello,

thanks for the many "witty" answers - first off all - this is only the "first try" to see if and how it works - and believe me it works GREAT !!!

I know that I can buy "smaller" LiPo´s but actually this is the "smallest" LiPo I have and I do not know if I can find a smaller with 7,4V - 3200mAh and 150 gramms ?

But where is the problem ? The LiPo fit`s perfect !

And by the way, actually I am working on a roll cage for this little monster to secure the LiPo and the whole car because I know that it could be "a little bit" dangerous and expensive when the LiPo "crashed".

I will post the pictures when it is finished !

Thanks again and greetings from Germany, harald-hans

UPDATE ... - 10.24.2005, 12:39 PM

as I told you before I added a small "safety guard" to the M18 especially for the LiPo.

Pictures under the adress I mentioned above.

Greetings from Germany, harald-hans

P.S. Runtimes with that combination: after 1 hour I gave up - I loaded the LiPo at home and it was only HALF empty !!!

You think you get two hours on a full charge. That would be like the bomb. I like the protection. I hate to see a good battery pack wasted.

Peace!
