Lipo mod for Spektrum DX3.0 ?

i got the hobbycity rhino one 2620mah... cost 15 bucks. (US) + 3 bucks shipping

cant beat that. ive got a jr sx3 which is identical. i just unsoldered the battery terminal thingys (took it apart first) then added some more wire and added 2mm bullet plugs which i still had. cost me almost nothing for the peace of mind my stupid battery wont go flat. and its a higher voltage than my nimh! and its lighter too. hope this helps,
