I know it is nice to get some opinions from others once in a while. Hey Pimp do you do any racing with your stuff, or are you just a diehard basher? With all of your equipment you should be doing some cometitive racing. At least you have the spare parts laying around the shop to keep you moving. Wouldn't it be cool if someone decided to start doing R/C XGames for television? That would be fun to watch don't you think?

Hey Jerry, the closest track is about 1 hr away, so I have not tried racing yet. Plus I would be the only electric guy there. I would have a dead battery before most of them had even got their stuff started and tuned...
R/C Xgames would be cool, maybe someone could make a compilation of the the crazy stuff people have posted on you tube?

R/C X games like long/high jump, longest wheelie? Then maybe the 2012 summer Olympics! I think a r/c monster truck jam would also be cool. Freestyle or Head to head two lap races with obstacles and cones.

Yea that is what I am talking about. The closest thing that I have seen or read about is the annual monster jam at Diggers Dungeon. I would love to be able to attend one of his bashes, or any bash for that matter. With us traveling around the world in our jobs it makes it kind of hard, so I have to live these things through you guys. When we are in teh states it is only for like a week to two weeks usually. We only get a full month once every 3 to 4 years because of the work we do. Still seeing something like R/C XGames would be a real morale booster for me. It would be one way to pull all of the RCM guys into the same arena at the same time. Maybe Mike can pull something like that off. This website is surely one of the best and largest of its kind, and there is an incredible amount of talent in here for something like that. Oh well I guess it is just a dream.
So linc take lots of batteries with you, go to the track and kick some butt. Videos please???

Richard Pryor did a funny stint about these things a loooong time ago. I'm talking before Tamiya was into RC. For all the old guys in this forum, it's a "no-brainer".

Good choice. I had the ION-X which is like a C50-13 or 15XL and the 1521/1Y is just a lot more motor then the Hacker.

I was wondering how well it would work. The 11xl has plenty of power for the setup, but runns a tad warm, getting close to 170f after 20mins or so. I was hoping that the 1521 would stay a bit cooler. Both motors have similar kv, so re-gearing will not be necessary. I always wanted an ion-x, they just look cool!

Yes, the Hacker will get warmer then the Neu. The Neu will have much more torque. I ran my BPP truggy for 20 minutes doing lots of speed runs and very hard stop and go. The Neu was not even warm. I ran the ION-X on the speed runs seen in youtube and it pushed the BPP to 59mph so it's a good motor and when not doing speed runs it was just as cool as the Neu, but the ION-X was in a 10S set up.
