question about diffs on LSP - 09.07.2008, 07:48 PM

Ok bought an lsp pro roller to convert got it all done! This is my first 8th scale so my problem is it pulls to the left even with the trim adjusted and also only the back wheels have power? It drives rear wheel drive, if I put it on the ground only the back wheels spin? Due I need to change diff fluid in center only or in all? And anybody recommend a set-up?

I guess you bought it used. I loved used RCs myself. The first thing I always do is disassemble the RC, check everything and fix all the needs to be fixed. You should definitely open your diffs and get fresh hardened internal gears for all of them. I use a locked center so I can't comment on the weight of oil you should use. I use 10K in the front diff and 5K in the rear. I might switch the rear to 7K as it's working great in my MBX5T. Other members will post their set up as well and some of them are racers, so what works for them will most definitely work for you.

Just see if you need them first. If you have the standard internal gears just find the hardened sets and change them all.
