savage battery tray replacement - 09.07.2008, 04:58 PM

heres what i currently have..can u recommend a tray where i can fit something wider than my side by side 3800mah 6cells?pls give me some ideas ..maybe post some pix of what u have and where can i buy it..

Personally I'd say make some trays out of lexan and some velcro straps. Make sure the velcro straps are secured to the chassis so the batteries won't go anywhere. Lexan is really easy to work with if you have a dremel, jigsaw and a heat gun. Otherwise some sheet metal will do the job just as easy.

i was actually lookin at that .are they aluminum?is it easy to drill a hole in it?
