Failed attempt - 07.17.2008, 02:15 AM

well i tried to make a motor mount and talk bout ugly, it was a horrid story of despair, anger, and then ultimately crying. I would have taken a picture of my attempt but its somewhere in the field behind my house. So back to the drawing board. I'm just hoping that Mike will read this and have pity on us TT ST-1 guys and create some professional looking motor mounts and allow me to give my bandage hand some nice R&R.

Sorry to laugh at your pain, but that was a funny post
So, I guess you're giving up on the idea of making your own mount. Has Mike given you a reply about making one for you?

I want my RC Monster ST-1 motor mount & I want it now !

Well ok I heard rumours that Mike is secretly working on this & I'm pretty excited. I'm having a blast with my nitro ST-1 & in fact just acquired another. This is one good truggy but not much coverage I wonder why ?

Joe Ling

Mike said in this thread http://www.rc-monster.com/forum/showthread.php?t=13081 that he will have a thunder tiger mount soon.

I'm wondering that as well. It's been working well for me and I still haven't broken anything (I'd say the track I've been bashing at this week will change that though - bbiiiiggg jumps ), plus it's cheap.

No, I haven't heard anything else about it since Mike posted in that thread nearly a month ago.

Someone will have to send a ST-1 into Mike, he only has a S2 buggy which are not the same differential. I was going to send mine in, but I have since decided to upgrade my truggy after the season closes.

Now I can convert my new S3 buggy without having to make another mount by hand, and I might end up changing the layout of my ST-1 with this mount. Thanks Mike.
