Fan mod is simply a teflon washer superglued into the middle of the fan case.
IMG: Care of Jeff
The heatshrink is on the fan lead to avoid it rubbing against the PCB.

After running my 2s packs for about 4 hours of run time I ran a 4s 25C 5000 Poly RC pack through my MMM with no issues. Ran the truck hard for about 12 minutes ESC temp measured 120 motor temp was 155. Trucks gearing is 16/47 with the Savage trans locked into second. It was only one pack at 4s but great none the less.
My V2 Monster died silently after about ~20 min total runtime on 6s.
Now it just started it's second life as a MMM V2 lite (BEC removed, thx to BrianG).
So far everything looks well, but I have no real runtime on it so far.
I let a friend borrow my V2 that was int he box when he got it.. He said he made it 3 packs before it died completely.. He was running it on 6s, it would turn on then die a couple of times and then there was nothing.. he burnt the BEC out of his V2.. My V1 I have been running on 5s for multiple packs.. the only thing that I have had go bad is the fan stopped working so I strapped a 5v fan out of a blade server that keeps that thing way cooler than the stock fan.. no problems with it other than that..
If I unplug the motor should I have to re-sync my radio? I did have the happen and didn't know if it was normal...
On paper, this thing is SOOO AWESOME... I just can't wait for the device to catch up.
The switching BEC is the primary reason I selected this device. I would like a single part to handle this all. I want a device that handles all power for all devices. I'm using this in a simple robot, and the brain requires clean power. Now I might need to reconsider my strategy, but wanted this nice and simple so that other people could follow the instructions easily and get to the important stuff, programming the brain.
