We got power again in Tomball. We had running water and gas, so we made it out ok. No damage to my house, but my neighbors didn't fair so well. Some sections were waist deep under water. Neighbors shared their food resources and kept the spirits up.

Used all my a123 and laptop batteries for flashlights and running fans to keep my expecting wife cool. Killed the Chargery charger in the process. Poor thing couldn't handle the continuous charges. At nite my neighbors and I killed time playing with my 10+ million candle power flashlight, which ofcourse was powered by A123 cells.

We got enough water pressure back Sun to be able to bathe again, was a real treat after working outside all day long. Most of our fence is back up, at least we are separated from the park again. I had strangers trooping thru the back yard cause it was 15yds shorter that going around - didn't care for that and our dogs didn't like it either.

All the debris is cleaned up in the front yard. Still working in the back and need to go buy some fencing. Still don't have cable or internet - this is via air card which keeps disconnecting on me. Need to have garbage service which we were promised two days ago come by and pickup household garbage. We're going to be looking at the tree trash for a while - will be a nice fire hazard sitting on everyone's curb.
