I think he drilled the motor mount which was the way to go - I bet you could also send it back to neu for the newer design can with the larger bearings...

yes thats what I did...the erevo has a unique swing arm finned motor mount..it was very easy to drill and the motor lines up perfactley and yes it does have smaller bearings than the other motor...this motor is the one that steve neu sent me from there special deals website...i'm sure it has been gone over at there facility...... $100 cant go wrong
