i used a mill to cut mine but u could easily use a coping saw or similar to do it. took me a few hrs but im happy with my job. check my hyper 8.5 build thread for pics...
the mount, u can always just try making one yourself or saving up and spending the cash on mikes one.

Thanks jnev, i knew there would be flex inthe chassis-but didnt think that there would be so much to throw off gear mesh. so it looks like rcm mount... have to scrounge up some funds for that. or... i could make a flat mount out of 1/8th inch aluminum, bolt it to the center diff.
as for battery tray.... still 10 bux vs. 45 bux.
Tc3, do you have any other pics of that tray?
