MMM overkill? -
09.25.2008, 01:06 AM
Hey guys,
I like to swap electronics around in my trucks and cars. I was thinking I'll get a big 1/8 scale truggy this winter and I have a T4 coming. Would a MMM be overkill? Could I run it on only 2s or 3s in the T4? Thoughts?
:D

I know they're rated up to 6s, but what about smaller platforms and power? Is it going to cog or have problems with low amps and only 7.4V lipo?

I think the biggest problem will be size and weight. You will struggle I think to fit it under the body.
Savage: FLM Conversion, 6s, MMM, CC 1520.
Mini-T Pro: Micro Pro 6800kv, Lipo, HS-81mg, Dirt Hawgs
M18MT: Quark 33A, Y22S 6000kv, FP 2s Lipo
LRP S8-BX: RC-M Conversion, Tekin RX8 B1600KV, 6S.

I would just get a MM they are proven to work good and be a great ESC.You can run up to 3S threw it without modding the MM.

I saw the title and got a good chuckle out of it. No, the MMM will never be overkill
. I use one in my Rustler on 6S and it's great fun.
