I'd like to see that. When I had my Revo it took me at least half an hour to get to the diffs.

I can honestly have a diff out in 10 minutes. I'd like to see it done in 3!

You must have some better tools than I use. I just have regular L-wrenches that kill your fingers. I'd love to get a small electric screwdriver with some hex bits for it though.

Yes a good set of hex drivers is mandatory! Take off the shocks, 3 screws holding the body mount to the bulks, and a set screw on each driveshaft. Pretty sure that's all that is needed for the rear diff. The front diff does take an extra minute or two. Putting it back together is the tricky part, lining up the center driveshafts.

Thats just it getting them out is easy , its putting them back in thats a pain! I have gooten good at pulling the emaxx and erevo apart. I have good tools and a 18v dewalt drill. The erevo is only a few screws(9) I cant see how 9 screws takes 10 mins. The emax only reqires you to remove the 2 screws out the shock tower, 2 screws out the skid plate, 2 out the chassis, oh and 2 out the bumper mount and remove the shafts. You only need one side of the bulhead off to remove the diff. It pretty easy

Man I guess the next time I kill a diff I will have to video it for you. Man its only 2 shock tower screw, 3 body mount screws, 4 skid plate screws, and shafts. I just cant see how it takes that long. Even with hand tools I can have it out preety darn fast

Edit on the 9 screws I forgot the 2 that hold the turn buckels

I still like my Muggy...pull two screws out of the chassis and if you can reach around the bumper there's only 4 more screws (I just remove the bumper though, 2 more screws and makes it much easier). Once you've got the plastic hinge pin cover off remove 2 hinge pins and drop the bottom (or top) control arms out of the way, pull 2 plastic inserts out and the entire diff and center shaft comes right out. THAT is a 2-3 minute job.

EDIT: Re-assembly is just as easy

My only issue with the lst is that the diffs are easy to get out, but once shimmed correctly never need to come out! It is handy if you are experimenting with diff oils... I wish more vehicles had such easy to get at diffs... Like a pre-X savage.

There are 3 screws at the very rear top of chassis, they hold the body mount bumper assembly on, remove them and pull the bumper assembly off. Remove the shocks. Now the whole rear assembly should pull off. There are set screws that hold the driveshafts on, remove screws from both axles and the center driveshaft and unattach the shafts from the diff. Now the diff will pull out of the bulks.
