Woah!! - 11.02.2005, 01:26 PM

I got my 7XL/9920/UBEC today, I got it fitted, took a good few hours.

It is very wet out side, but when fitted I was no way going to sit back inside, I ran it and WOAH! The power is insane, driving over gravel and grass was like driving on road with Titans but even better!

I couldn't get any speed from the wet but so stunned by the power. The steering is better from the UBEC too, really is awsome.

I can't wait until it is dry. I was running on 14 cells.

Thanks guys for reccomending this setup I love it!

Guerilla: Mike is a super fast shipper! My stuff usually arrives within a week, and I live in Switzerland.
He handles stuff quick, when he has it in stock.

Nick, glad you like it so far.

I'm loving the 7XL it is so worth the money! Power is awsome, just can't wait to try speed runs when the terrain is dry!

For delivery I orderd Sunday and it came Tuesday the following week. So about 10 days. :)

No not yet.

Will get some good pictures when I have mounted the 9920 and aligned the wires better though.

This is an old Gorilla chassis. The current one is G2, so I guess this one is generation one. It uses some rails instead of the bend in the lower plate to keep the batts in place.

I have one of those, too. Got it used. I got rid of those rails and made the bends myself.

Rails are good for holding batteries in. I had alot of problems with out them. :)

With the bends (G2 style) and some foam, it works flawless, too.
