A few of us have converted to the "Revo Spec Slipper" - basically putting the new style set up in the E-Maxx/G-Maxx tranny. I havent had the chance yet to run mine, but the conversion is fairly simple. Do a search of the above, and you'll get quite a few threads on it. One person made his so the shaft actually extends out the back of the tranny - I wish I would have done that, as it would make tightening the nut much easier. Here is one thread on it:
