Tekno reps you there? please help. - 10.23.2008, 01:45 AM

My tekno v3 for the 8T is heavy. Neu 1515/1y, 4s lipo, MMM.

I got this advice from a Tekno rep online. It sounded like someone had the same truggy they run.

What springs, shock oil, pistons, mounting holes, etc do you run? Tekno rep please answer. I am sure I can get an answer from them direct, but Im sure many have the same question as me.
Also what diff set upis used? Oil weight?

My 8t bottoms out on anything. The tires swell big too in the front. I run 7,000 10,000 5,000 thanks for any help from anyone.

I run Jammin' shocks on my Losi, so I'm not the best one to answer. Anyone else?

However,I'm pretty sure two of our drivers are running the stock race roller setup all around (shocks, diffs, etc). I run a stiffer suspension setup in back, but have been going lighter and lighter lately. You could also try raising your ride height and running full droop on the suspension to help with bottoming out.

I run the stock set-up.

If your track has a lot of big jumps, bottoming out can be prevented with a heavier wt. oil. Try 50wt all around.

Try using a heavier center diff oil as well to prevent the motor from unloading to the front. Did you say you are running 10,000 in the middle? Thats already pretty high. May try 12,000, but this may be too much.
