MRC 989 Backlight Upgrade - 10.28.2008, 07:19 PM

I just recently placed an order for a blue backlight upgrade kit for my MRC 989 charger from this place http://www.caribbeancustomdesigns.co...products_id=67. Although it did take a while to get the price was great and product was well worth the wait. Here is a before and after picture to show you the difference. Although the directions were very clear, lots of pics and easy to follow along I would not recomend this upgrade to someone who is not comfortable with taking apart there charger and doing some slow and detailed hand work and soldering.

I actaully prefer the first one. The blueish screen on my hyperion irritates my eyes at times when I'm kinda tired.

I have done the same thing to my 2 ice chargers and both 989 chargers. Definately worth it, would recommend them to anyone.
