Would a 1506 work in a crt.5?

I run the 36-50-3300 Medusa in my LS10 on 3s. Works great in it. I use the center differential and can gear it up pretty high before I have to start worring about heat. The NEU would be able to go even higher without heat issues. But as said above the medusa is a good bang for the buck.
