Just want to say that I tested one of my V1 MMM ESC's and one of my V2 MMM ESC's this afternoon both with the new firmware, and they both performed fabulously. Start ups are even smoother, and overall, they just handled everything wonderfully. Now I just have to wait for one of my MMM ESC's that died on me...

Great job CC!

I will agree with the masses once you get a hold of castle they are very helpfull. have only been able to put about 30 minutes on my v3 so far, was planning to go to the track this weekend but its rainin and the only indoor track i know of near here wont let me run my car:( this is my first v3 5th mmm and i must say it has performed well so far. fan has never come on, car shredding power, smooth throttle, and i had to mess with the curve but the electric brakes work decent now too. i do miss the bias with my mechanical brakes though. somethin i never had on my electric cars and was really helpfull

V3 worked great today down at The Grove.

2 qualifiers and won the B main, bumped to the A main and finished 4th.

I was in 3rd but made a couple of mistakes late in the race.

V3 is holding it down so far.

I ran the B and the A back to back and the esc was 123 degrees after the A.

Well I have had my V3 for a week and am very happy with it so far - they have definately
fixed the BEC issue that caused mine to fail.
I ran it once on its own before it was obvious the internal supply was getting hot driving
two servos and a fan so now I am using an external BEC and its great.

I have one question about the castle link options though -
The brake curve does not seem to alter the brake operation, only reverse. Is it possible
to set a curve for the brake? (always come on too hard for me) The tab says 'brake curve'
but the graph says brake/reverse and I can tell only reverse is different when driving it.

Yeah well the BEC would have heated up under the load, and I could tell that it was struggling to move both the servos when steering side to side on the spot.

My V3 is "bone stock", except for the fact that I removed the male bullets from the included wires and direct soldered all of them to the female bullets at 90 degrees.

Then I drilled a bunch of holes in the case to vent the caps a bit.

Oh yeah, I did try and secure the fan wire too.

I received my MMM last week and opened it up to inspect everything. I noticed that the edges of the circuit board are very sharp. As well, the receiver and fan leads had a nice slice through the insulation. I put shrink wrap around the receiver, fan and switch leads and also put shrink wrap around the female bullet connections. Otherwise, it's a very nice design.

Hey macr0w, have you drill a hole on each of the female bullets conectors on the MMM board to put the wires on and soldered them??

Yeah, I drilled holes, tinned the wire good and stuck them in the holes and then feed a bunch of solder in there.

They seem to be good to go. It's got 2 weekends of hard racing and a few trips around the backyard and the street with no issues.

Like I said above it's "bone stock".

No external bec or anything.
