Nitro 1/18 from Xray - 10.03.2005, 08:47 PM

I know that this is a predominately electric forum, but you need to see thislink. Watch the teaser at the top

Work because i gotta, play because i wanna

People here hate Nitro, I love it. I start it, run it about 50 ft from me and it dies, I go after it. Perfect exercise

Whoa.....that's something new. Looks real slick, but the way the air filter sticks out kills the body lines.....any other options for that?

Cool! Just what I was looking for: a louder, slower, higher maintenance M18 that I can't run indoors! :L: :p

Electronics run on smoke... if you let the smoke out, they stop working.

its a dumb idea in general. Furthermore! the engine is sooo tiny, it will be a PAIN to TUNE!! its hard enough tuning a .12, try to tune an engine 1/3rd the size!!

To each his own, i guess. I like it, but i don't have anywhere to run it so if i got one it would probably be a shelf queen

I actually think it's a very cool car and a great idea. The novelty alone will make it sell like hotcakes.
Who knows - maybe it'll be like the Mini-T was and spawn a whole new class of 1/18th nitro vehicles.

Myself, I'll never ( shouldn't say never ) be buying a micro-scale nitro vehicle, but that doesn't mean it sucks :)

This is how I see it..

One more thing to convert! (even though it already has an electric version, lol)

The whole idea of a mini is to be able to drive inside I think, and this kind of limits you to outdoors only.

I'd buy one. I rarely drive my RC18t inside. It was only a matter of time before sombody did this. Batfish is right, the novelty alone will sell the hell out of this thing. Now if I could just figure out how to get the .28 from my Savage into that thing........

...and you would only have room for a 25cc gas tank, which will give you 2 minutes of run time :P
