Which Big Bore Shocks? - 11.09.2008, 08:51 PM

I'm looking for some big bore shocks for my XT8. Which would you recommend? I've tried losi 8T shocks and they are too short. I'm thinking about jammin, xray 808, or some mugen ones. Anyone have any opinions or all they all about the same quality? I would like a lot of travel if possible. Open to suggestions.

There's two sides to every schwartz, he got the up side and I got the down side.

I would stick with the same brand shocks get 2 sets of 808 rear shocks and springs but for the rear you will need a set of mounts off a rear set of losi8t shocks so it will still have the same droop as the stock shocks thats what the xray guys are using on the xt8 heres a pic of the losi mounts you will need

Thanks. I hadn't thought about that.

Hey Rich,
Get the 808 shocks.. (You will be happy)

(4) rear one's.. should cost you about $100 new or I've got some to sell you off my XT8, I had to go back the stock ones, my 808's just couldn’t handle the weight of the Battle truck.. Just a thought..

Happy shopping..

Check out my TX8 build, I explain the how’s and what for’s need for the adjustments. http://www.rc-monster.com/forum/showthread.php?t=13984

Hope that helps Sir..

Have a great one

Shaun.

Nothing!.. Hahahahaaa..
