Yea, the bearings are 5X10, not 5X11, duno why they did that

I had to dremel the front diff case a little bit because the arms have more material around the pin hole, But the rears fit absolutely no mods, and there is a good amount of play with the arms sliding, (not in a bad way) So you can mess with wheel base with shims, currently its shimmed so I have the most wheel base, but its something more to tune =)

For the conversion, maybe a 3rd of Mikes arms, But you cant beat machined alu arms, and hardened CVD's, but I dont have 200 or whatever they cost to blow on a set of arms... I wish I did, but I dont lol

The plastic parts, steering nuts and bearings should be about $30. Turnbuckles should be easy and cheap, $20 for steel. However the (4) CVDs are $60 forseeing the LS10 CVDs will work with the conversion. Have you found CVDs yet?

how did this turn into a widening thread from a 17mm fix thread?

i think the idea is that with doing the widening mod, you can use the 17mm adapters from new era. and have stronger arms in the process.

why cant neil explain things as nice as you.....

it does seem thought that this mod could cost as much as mikes extentions kit
