CAD is more fun when you get to see the fruit of your labor, that is...............getting the parts made in real life!
Here's a pic of the real truggy that was made from the above CAD files. Considering it was my first truggy, first 4wd, and first 1/8, I think it was sweet and still to this day when I dream of new layouts for truggies I find myself circling back to this one as a valid solution to the project objective.
if you want to see the project, there's a thread on the thing from initial CAD concept to final design. The truggy was stolen and I even got it back. Quite a trip that truggy's had.
