Nice write up!
After I successfully got the 989 working, I left it charging the one pack, and he went home. Not knowing how the 989 works, I began wondering how I would know that it was finished. However, that question became moot, when it hit the 60 minute timer! So I'll have to change the time limit on it.

Now, I'm just thinking out loud here. I do have another LBA10, and the network cable (which I think he wants to buy from me). His Batteries are 4S 4150 zippy R's. To charge both of those at the same time, we will have to use the two LBA10's and network cable as opposed to what you did, due to the 6S limit of the LBA10, correct? What I'm not so certain about, is what settings change on the charger? I think its going to be a series connection, therefore the charger needs to be set at 8S, 4150? Is 8S within the limits of the 989? Or does the charger still see this as a 4S setup, with the LBA10's doing the "thinking?
