LT-10s in a e-revo - 11.21.2008, 01:30 AM

Hey all, I recently made a mount for my LT-10s ESC for my E-revo.
Rather then adding to the 50 page Lutech ESC thread, I figured I'd upload my pics here.

I started with a scrap piece of aluminum. I think it was a doggy door....I donno, It was here when I moved into the house. I cut it, shaped it, bent it,"painted" it and here are the pics.

I am embarrassed to post my "metal work" around some of you master fab work guru's but I thought it may helps some....so be gentle. I am limited to a dremel, a grinding wheel, a vice....and a marker...

anyway....here are the pics...

I used a "bottom" line.

I have a couple vices myself, but this is a family forum! Your vise did a good job with the plate, however!

I like the .99c anodizing technique, works well!
Thats actually something very close to how I would have mounted an esc that shape/size, very sturdy and secure. Just one thing- give that truck a clean, its dirtier than my mind...

Cables are the 10g that came with the ESC for the most part. I think I will shorten the battery leads tho. I never cut the origional wires on the ESC, but now that its done....I relise I should have. "machine shop" I like that.. The gloves were not needed, I just thought they might be so I had them on when I first started cutting.
