Nice collection Jerry.

You need to get a set of racerx or EXT suspension for that lightning though . I have a set if you're interested. I just sold my 2nd set of towered VBS with gears last week .

Castle Neu 1520 on 6S LiPo Powered Gmaxx (Nitro Killer)
Predator with OS .21TM
Supermaxx with Mach .26
Revo with OS .18TZ
Kyosho ST-RR Conversion
Ofna CR with Tekin ESC/Motor (2)

Thanks George, I will have to think about that offer. I do have the UE wide-track suspension set on there now. I love the way the racer/X sets look, but it just adds adjustment complications that aren't really needed IMO. Shoot me a PM price for what you want for them anyway and I will think it over. So do you still have another towered VBS set for sale?? I may be interested if you do. Although I think that the RCM/FLM hybrid bulks pretty much do the trick. I put the lightning hardened gears inside and I use the hardened heavy duty cups/outdrives as well. I also have a center diff setup that I am playing with that I am considering using the torsen diff on, and I have a couple steel spurs coming in for that.

I really do like the UE gear, but it is too bad that Robin does not see fit to keep replacement parts available for us. It is a dammed shame that UE has turned it's back on the R/C community. I also just installed a double monoblock this evening, because I want to set the Lightning up for some high speed fun. I have a few ideas but I am not really sure just yet what kind of power plant I will end up putting into it. I am still trying to engineer this thing for durability right now. I don't want to end up running it a few times and have things breaking on me every time out. I do love working on these things. It is a blast for me just to tinker with them and work on improving them. Thanks George.

Very nice collection. I have to ask though- why are all the rear tires mounted backwards on your trucks?

I noticed that you try to catch everyone with that one. I take them on and off so much that most of the time I am not looking at that right now. Once I am ready to start running them I will pay more attention to that fact. It just is not important at the moment. I have the new Axial beadlock wheels setup for them anyway. I just got a home made wheel balancer setup and I already have one set totally done with Mulcher tires installed. Next week I will have a second set done with 40 series Roadrage-2 tires on them.

Looks good Jerry. I am a bit jealous, as your maxx collection is nicer than mine...

I have no idea why I like maxx trucks as much as I do, but who cares! I currently have 2 BPP torpedo chassis, 1 BPP racebomb, a mostly stock 3905, the 6x6 3906 based truck, and a tube buggy that needs work. None have all that al that you have though. I prefer plastic parts (mostly because I am cheap! HAHA) and have a bunch of stuff laying around from trades and hobby shop closings. Long live the maxx truck!!!!
